I love nPlayer. In my opinion it is one of the best players money can buy in the App Store. But its missing an absolutely crucial feature. Devs, PLEASE add the ability to minimize the media player in the app while it is playing. Other players have been able to do this since forever, and I want to be able to scroll through my music while listening to it.

Broke the app with this version. I cannot play any MKV files

Pls, its a nice player, but this folder is so distracting. Cant get rid of it. Thanks

Update, update: so what was really fixed with the Feb 10th update other than giving us an annoying pop up for DIVX vids? Wish I could give zero stars right now. And how could AVPlayer a premium player VCL Player, a free player at that play the same XVID without the same slowdowns? Excuses now. Went from the best to the worst in less than three months. Love the peak and pop but wished I waited to upgrade to newest version after reading some reviews. This one has some serious lag problems, even older videos with lower bit rates and resolution. As another reviewer pointed out frames are being dropped but not just with mkv containers but even older videos which doesnt make sense. These same videos work fine in other players like AVPlayer and VLC Player. Update: after more testing I experiencing constant frame drops on videos that play just fine in other players. Wish I had a backup of the previous version to revert back to now. Never again will I ever update the first day of release.

It seems that you are preparing to delete the support of the "Dolby" !

looks like there was licence problem and deleted some functions without notice. deleted: some avi codec , copying download url or some more improvement -> lie

They cheated all paid customer by update to remove specific codecs support without notice. Their lame excuse was regarding patent issue. It is hard to believe the company cheated their customer only for their benefit. Good app, but terrible company.

i should change ipa files.. from ipad to iphone.. plz do best for the qa

Latest update is a big problem. States support for DiVx and xvid is no longer smooth due to a licensing issue. Worked fine before. Now its horrible as it skips frames like crazy. Please fix asap.

When I first purchased this app it played Dolby digital and dts. It also supported divx. Somehow the dts was removed and is an extra purchase. And poof the divx support is gone. Until these basic features are restored (especially divx) the app is much less valuable

Everything is good. But I want to use airplay to watch DLNA/UPNP video on TV, only voice on TV, no video, please fix it.

Since the last update my phones battery dies a lot quicker. Please fix it! It was great when I could watch a video for an hour and only lose 10% battery.

Ive user nPlayer for a few months now and whilst it works well, there are some issues. Playing MKV files through the Apple Lightning-HDMI adapter works but the video cannot play when the device is paused. MP4 files do not have this limitation. Bit streaming Dolby audio through the Apple HDMI adapter broke in version 3.2.4 and is still broken 3.2.6. 3.2.3 still works. Regressions like this are especially frustrating after paying extra for the Dolby decoder.
