A perfect video app got a UI update it didnt need. Video thumbnails used to show where you were in a video, extremely convenient. Now they show "video art" which ranges to NO art (often home videos), wrong art (random images it links from the internet), or cover art from a movie database which doesnt work (tested multiple times, the link website to metadata doesnt work). So you could be stuck with no video thumbnails, wrong video thumbnails, or an ugly image that you have no way of changing. PLEASE put in an option to change back video thumbnails to "current location on the video." That was extremely useful that most other apps did not have. Probably my favorite feature of this app is now gone (I bought this app because of that feature) and Im very upset.

This is hands down the best video player and continues to get better. Im able to play from so many sources its ridiculous. The only qualm I have is the thumbprints have become not as useful with this recent update.

Now I have to touch the video twice to play it since it has to show video details, but not play it after first touch. Please change this back.

I do NOT want my files searched online automatically and the matching is rather inaccurate. Please Offer An Option to Disable Auto Metadata Search.

You can play anything and they are almost always the first one to add new codecs and improve them better then any other player out there And its getting new features all the time

Please add search option for playlist. This is my both music player and video player. Absolutely gorgeous. Some of the few players that actually did worth my money. Thanks!

use cmb download vedio to local,the speed just 3~4MB,？my other app download from internet can speed up to 10MB,why?

When playing HEVC video, frame drops frequently. A 1.2GB 24FPS file kills A7 core.

I used many media players and this is the best for iOS. Supports all the file type that I need for audio and video. I can connect and stream audio and video from my NAS without issue. There is only one function that I hope it has before giving a 5 ⭐️ and that is the sleep timer. I hope the developer can add this function for at least during audio playback. Also I hope one day it will support Apple TV.

Can play all files I throw at it. Very reliable at connecting with network resources when similar apps fail to, such as Google Drive, and WebDAV.

The title says it all. It has the most features, its customizable, supports all of the latest audio types, and has the best picture quality. Yes, I have bought all the top apps to compare. Thank you nplayer!!!! Thank you the latest update with airplay and pip. Keep up the good work!

I bought it and yes this isnt a paid review. The video quality is excellent esp wmv files. So hard to find a player on the App Store that can play that well.

After a year of updates, the app is back to being great. Flexible and stable. -------- Sigh... We went through this with 2.0. Version 1 was awesome. It played in the background when locked or pressing the home button. Setting the sleep timer on the phone could stop play. I could download YouTube videos to my phone. Version 2 broke the sleep timer. It was never fixed. 2.6.x removed the YouTube download feature (Apple forced you to do this.) Version 3 broke the background play (works when locked, but crashes the app when pressing the home button). The buttons in the new UI are too hard to hit. It takes me 3 and 4 tries. I wish this had been an optional upgrade.

Finally, you can watch mkv videos with soft subs in PiP or via AirPlay! Nplayer demonstrates once again why it is in a completely different league compared to any other video player.
